The seventh meeting of the Special Group on Public Administration Reform between the European Union (EU) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, in Sarajevo (in a hybrid format).
The first part of the meeting (from 10:00 AM to 12:45 PM) will feature a high-level political dialogue on public administration reform. The political dialogue will begin with an introductory address by BiH Minister of Justice, Davor Bunoza, and the meeting will be co-chaired by the Secretary of the BiH Ministry of Justice, Željko Bogut. Among other topics, discussions will focus on priorities related to functional public finance management and functional public administration, as well as building a professional civil service and harmonizing civil service legislation at different levels of government.
The second part of the meeting (from 2:15 PM to 5:45 PM) will be a technical-level dialogue on public administration reform, co-chaired by Public Administration Reform Coordinator Darko Kasap. This part of the meeting will cover topics such as the implementation of the Public Administration Reform Strategy and Action Plan in BiH, civil service, accountability, and human resources management.
The meeting will be co-chaired on the EU side by Barbara Jesus – Gimeno from the European Commission.
On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the Directorate for European Integration building (Đoke Mazalića 5, Sarajevo, 3rd floor hall), cameramen and photojournalists will be able to take footage and photos at the beginning of the meeting at 10:00 AM.
