Workshop on “Protection of the principles of political neutrality of the civil service and protection of the rights of individuals from arbitrary decisions of managers”

Within the project of technical support of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina entitled “Support to public administration reforms in BiH”, implemented by DAI human dynamics, on Tuesday 13.10.2020. a full – day workshop was held for civil servants on the topic “Protection of the principles of political neutrality of the civil service and protection of the rights of individuals from arbitrary decisions of managers”.

In the introductory part of the workshop, the project leader Dr. Slobodan Dujić addressed the audience, introducing the standards of political neutrality and protection of individuals from arbitrary decisions of managers in the civil service, as well as various acceptable modes of their applicability in practice in EU member states.

Lecturers at the workshop, project experts mr. sci. Vlasta Perla and mr.sci. Pedja Đurasović, through the presentation of well-established practices in the implementation of the principles of good governance, educated the participants in the areas of professionalization and political neutrality of management structures in the civil service, the importance of objectifying selection procedures and professional development of civil servants and limiting the arbitrariness of administrative procedures.
