The delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina consisted of Davor Bunoza, Minister of Justice of BiH and Darko Kasap, Deputy State Coordinator for Public Administration Reform will attend on Monday, November 6, 2023, in the OECD premises in Paris, a conference at the ministerial level where the updated SIGMA principles of public administration will be presented.

The principles of public administration, developed by SIGMA/OECD and the EU, are the primary framework that guides EU enlargement countries on how to build better public administration. The principles were first published in 2014, and were revised during 2023.

The launch event will be a forum for all EU candidate countries and potential candidates to consider how the updated Principles can strengthen public management reforms. It is generally known that good public administration plays a key role in economic and social development. Recent global crises are a reminder of the importance of functional and agile governments and public administrations. Countries with strong institutions, efficient civil service and customer-oriented public services are better at managing emerging crises. Such an environment also facilitates private sector growth, reduces poverty and delivers results for citizens.
