Dnevni avaz: The new Rulebook on registration of vehicles in BiH inures on September 28. Several new things have been stipulated in relation to the previous registration of vehicles. As it has been announced, the new system will have protective elements by the European standards. Citizens will face with the new certifications as well.
The certification on ownership of vehicle is a document, which increases security of the process of vehicle registration and reduces possibility of misusing and stealing vehicles. It will be issued with a deadline of one year. Changing the ownership of vehicle will no longer be possible without this document – has been explained in the Identification Documents, Data Exchange and Evidence Agency (IDDEEA) of BiH and the Ministry of Communications and Traffic of BiH.
This practically means that it will not be possible to sell the unregistered vehicle.
The certification on vehicle registration is a document, which is being imposed instead of the previous traffic license, but the citizens will be able to get it after filling all empty spaces in the traffic license. In the future, all the vehicles will also have the stickers, which will be showing the validity deadline of registration. Stickers will be taped on the vehicle windshields.
– The registration marks will be issued only once and will practically "follow" the vehicle. New plates with numbers and letters will have the international mark of BiH. There will be no massive changes of plates, because the vehicles in the ownership of physical and legal persons keep the existing plates while the vehicle is theirs – has been pointed out in the joint information of the IDDEEA and the Ministry.
The affairs of registration of vehicles, as it used to be by now, will be done by the services of the ministries of internal affairs. Technical checks of motor and connecting vehicles will be done per year, except for the buses and the vehicles for training, whose technical check will have to be done each six months.
