Dnevni avaz: In a huge action, which have 160 inspectors implemented in the last two months on the region of the FBiH, the Federal Authority for Inspection Affairs has found even 824 illegal workers, has been confirmed for "Dnevni avaz" by director of this authority, Ibrahim Tirak.
Even though there was a time when illegal work has been suppressed, it has become massive again. As we find out, the profile of illegal workers is different, and among them there is one pensioned General of the Army of the Republic of BiH. Tirak did not want to mention his name yesterday.
– We have concluded that we have a case of growth of illegal workers in some professions, mostly in catering and tourism. The Authority will send the lists of 824 names to the employment agencies, the Pension/Disability Institute of the FBiH, the ministries for war veteran issues and ministries of work of the FBiH. On the basis of those lists, they need to confirm in which status those 824 persons are.
This way we want to influence the reduction of illegal work – Tirak has said, by stating that the report on this case will also be sent to the Government of the FBiH. According to him, inspectors have confirmed that many employers and their employees have had some benefits from illegal work, and that the employees have had some privileges by the basis of their unemployment. Such case in the FBiH must be stopped right away, Tirak has said.
