Dnevni avaz: Even though in all the public institutions there should be a dress code for civil servants, this is not being applied in some municipalities of Sarajevo. This means that it is up to the employees to dress the way they want, which is being respected by majority of them. As we have been told, variety of colors in dressing is only obvious during summer, but the employed make sure that they do not come to work with big décolleté, too short skirts, shorts, sandals…

 Hadžibajrić has introduced the shirts of peach color

– By the arrival of Mayor Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, employees of Municipality of Stari Grad start wearing working uniforms. Suits are grey, women’s shirts in color of peach, and men’s shirts white. Phoning is forbidden because conversations with parties must be done at counters – has been said by Alija Ibrović, Expert Associate in this municipality.

In Municipality of Centar – brown uniforms

Employees of Municipality of Centar, as we find out, do not wear the uniforms during summer. They dress the way they want, by respecting the rules. Usually, their uniforms are brown and are being worn during Fall and Winter.

– Even though we do not have a dress code, we recommend to our employees, out whom 14 work at counters, to wear the blue uniforms. Men must wear ties, women must have scarves, and they can also choose to wear a skirt or pants. We do not insist on wearing socks because of high temperatures. They can use their mobile phones only in official purposes – has been said in the Service for affairs of general administration and local community of Municipality of Novo Sarajevo.

One-sided uniforms, green shirts and grey suit are being worn by 16 employed at counters of Municipality of Ilidža. During working hours it is forbidden to talk over mobile phones and to come to work in sandals, sneakers…

– In Municipality of Novi Grad working uniform is dark blue, shirts are yellow, and ties light blue, with emblems of Municipality. Talking over mobile phone must be short and only in the rooms behind the counter-hall, has been said by deputy mayor of Municipality of Novi Grad, Želimir Lalić.

Employees in Trnovo and Ilijaš dress the way they want because the dress code has not been adopted by all municipalities.

– By sticking up to the ethic code for civil servants, employees in Municipality of Vogošća must dress properly, not to laugh too loud, keep the noise down, not to throw the things, and avoid inappropriate jokes – has been said in this municipality.

Employees of municipality of Hadžići work in dark blue coats, pants, skirts and waist coats. Shirts are light blue, ties dark blue. Thank God, leggings and ties are not a must during summer, has been said in the statement of Municipality of Hadžići. There are also disciplinary measures in municipalities for those, who dress inappropriately.
