Oslobođenje: An average monthly net salary per an employee by legal persons in BiH for March 2009 has been 790 KM, which shows a nominal droop by 1% in relation to December 2008, has been said by director of the Agency for Statistics of BiH, Zdenko Milinović, at the press conference on Friday in Sarajevo.
"An average monthly net salary for March 2009 in relation to the same month last year is higher by 8.9%, due to the introduction of tax on salary since January this year", he has said.
For the first quarter of 2009, an average net salary per an employee by legal persons in BiH was 788 KM, while it was 706 KM in the same period of 2008.
An average monthly gross salary by the employee in the same category, for March 2009 was 1.203 KM, which shows a nominal increase by 1.7% in relation to December of 2008. Average monthly gross salary for March 2009, in relation to the same month last year, was nominally higher by 12%.
