Oslobođenje: Yesterday, at the University in Banja Luka, there have been officially opened three new faculties; Faculty for Philology, Faculty for Political Science and Mining Engineering Faculty. Therefore, this university now has 16 organizational units, reports Srna.
The rector of the University of Banja Luka, Stanko Stanić, has nominated the professor of Serbian language from the Philosophy Faculty, Drago Tešanović, for the dean of the Faculty for Philology, while the other two deans will be elected later.
Faculty for Philology consists of five study programs: Serbian language and literature, English language and literature, French language and literature, Italian language and literature and German language and literature, and in a frame of the Faculty for Political Science; political sciences, journalism, social work and sociology.
"By reorganization of the Faculty for Technology in Prijedor, we have got a new Mining Engineering Faculty, which used to be a study program", Stanić has said.
