Dnevni list: The Government of the RS has at its last session adopted the Proposal Law on Electronic Business. By this decision and by adopting the Law on Electronic Document, the Government has began by creating of conditions necessary for successful functioning and development of information society.

Srđan Rajčević, director of the Information Society Agency of the RS, has said that inclusion of BiH in the European Union requires the arranged legal system, in which the area of electronic business, along with the legal validity of electronic document, is being set as the basis for adopting the Law on Electronic Business.

He has also said that electronic business, based on the information-communication technology, creates the new forms of operations, with providing new products and services, as well as the new forms of operations between the partners in business and other kinds of relations on the basis of usage and exchange of electronic documents.

This is in harmonization with decision of the Council of Ministers of BiH, which at the end of January this year, has adopted the Decision on bases of using electronic signature and providing verification services. This way, there has been enabled the application of the Law on Electronic Signature, or regulated whole subject of bylaw regulations, whose goal is development of the e-government and electronic business in BiH. This way, there has also been regulated provision of services related to electronic signature and verification, as well as work of the Supervisory authority.
