Dnevni avaz: Filling the budget of the FBiH during January has been drastically reduced in relation to this year's plan, has been graded by the federal Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Vjekoslav Bevanda. In conversation for our paper, he has said that the "drastic changes in sense of the reforms and further reduction of public expenditure" must finally be undertaken.

The Government of the FBiH in critical moment

– Polarizations inside the FBiH Government are visible, so we in fact, did not even have some more serious clauses of the agenda in the last there months. All the important questions are being adjourned, there is no systematization and we have come to one critical moment.

– During the first month, only 80 million KM has been paid to the budget of the FBiH and this is a trend on which I have been warning. As it has come to the reduction of revenues by the basis of the Agreement with the EU, the law on accises must be adopted as soon as possible because it is expected to partially cover these problems. Spending and planning of expenditures without security must be stopped – Bevanda has said.

To the question if for the reduction of revenues in the budgets the global economic crisis is the one to blame, minister has answered affirmatively.

– The recession is present in BiH, expenditures of citizens are reduced as well as the industrial activities. This is why now we all have to act responsibly. We have made an inventory for last year and will obligate ourselves to close the deficit, and ensure a part of money through the succession of property of SFRJ (Socialistic Federative Republic of Yugoslavia). There has been a deficit of 280 million KM in the budget of the FBiH, and the total obligations are 490 million KM. The final figures by lots will be known later, after creation of the final bill – Bevanda has said.

The registry of users of the social and all other kinds of assistance from the budget must finally be established as the priority moves in order to preserve the liquidity of budget.

I do not have idea on Silajdžić's credits

Bevanda says that as a minister of finances of the FBiH, he does not have any idea on any kinds of credits for the banking sector or economy, which have apparently been operated and agreed by the member of the Presidency of BiH, Haris Silajdžić.
