Nezavisne novine: In the first quarter of this year the Council of Ministers of BiH should deliberate all the audit reports on business of the Institutions of BiH in 2007., because they have not done so by now.

This has been concluded yesterday at the joint session of the commissions for budget and finances of both Houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

These two commissions have yesterday agreed on the conclusions from the recently held plenary session dedicated to work of the Audit office of the Institutions of BiH and audit reports.

Dušanka Majkić, chairman of the Commission for budget and finances of the House of Peoples, says that one of the conclusions is to undertake the disciplinary measures against the competent persons and institutions in which the bad audit reports are repeating.

"We will propose to the Houses of the Parliament of BiH to instruct the Council of Ministers to establish one authority for public procurements and the list of procurements which that authority can do for all institutions will be exactly stated.", Majkić has said by adding that the auditors  have had the most complaints on public procurement procedures.

The Council of Ministers of BiH has earlier obligated the Joint Affairs Service of BiH, which from this year does the procurements of office material and gas for all institutions, but Majkić says that the Commission has concluded that a list of these procurements should also be expanded. She also says that she will ask from the Audit office to confirm the so called threshold of materiality because some institutions have been receiving a reserved opinion because of only 2.500 KM spent beside the certain procedure.

These agreed conclusions will be delivered on the adoption to the both Houses.
