Oslobođenje: According to analyses of the Food Safety Agency of BiH from 2007., there was 6% of hygienically improper food on market.
With the goal of controlling the accuracy of food, which the citizens consume, the Food Safety Agency of BiH plans by a plan approved by the Council of Ministers of BiH for this year, to do a monitoring of food on the region of BiH, on around 4.000 samples and per 2.000 samples in the RS and the FBiH.
In harmonization with that plan, the representatives of the Agency and the Institute for health protection and the Inspection affairs administration of the RS have today in Banja Luka signed the Agreement on cooperation in realization of plan of food monitoring in the Republic of Srpska.
The director of the Food Safety Agency of BiH, Sejad Mačkić thinks that this examination will give significant indicators, which will assist many institutions to make the estimation with the goal of protecting the consumers' health.
The European Commission has in last year sent 35 notifications on the fact that there is an eventually dangerous product on the region of BiH.
