Oslobođenje: The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Unsko-sanski canton (USK) has organized on Friday in Bihać the training of municipal servants from the region of that canton, on the initiative of the Federal Departmental Ministry, on beginning of the establishment of the registry of agricultural households and clients.
By the introduction of registration of agricultural households, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry has started the reform of agricultural policy. It represents the creation of total database in order to define the guidelines of development of agricultural production, has been said by Rasima Bobić, Minister of Agriculture of the USK.
By subscription into the registry of agricultural households, lands and livestock of each agricultural household are being evidenced because of the faster and more qualitative planning of measures of competent authorities for providing the stimulation to agriculture development, has been said by Semilja Kraljević, consultant of the World Bank for the registry project.
Only registered persons have the right to submit the requests for financial and other forms of stimulations for agricultural production, she has added. According to her, subscription into the registry of agricultural households will be implemented at the level of whole BiH, or both entities and the Brčko District of BiH, in order to get a full picture on the field, reports Fena.
