Dnevni avaz: The process of the electric connecting of master offices in BiH should be finished over the fist half of next year, when establishing of systems for issuing of biometric passports in BiH has been planned.  Connecting of master offices is one of the priorities for improvement of the securing aspects of issuing the personal documents in BiH, and as  the European Commission has recently delivered analysis to the BiH governments pointed out as a priority for abolishment of the visa regime. The spokesperson of the Agency for Identification Documents, Evidence and Exchange of Data of BiH (IDDEEA), Amila Opardija has confirmed to the Fena that the most important task before the establishment of the system for issuing the biometric passport is connecting of master offices, so the misuse by issuing the personal documents can be stopped.

"Before the beginning of issuing of biometric passports it is needed to circle the whole system and fulfill certain standards and recommendations, which are related to securing conditions at locations, supervision of the process of issuing of documents, and ethic code and a manner of acceptance and control of the officials of the authorized Ministries of Internal Affairs", has been said by Opardija. She has reminded that in the half of next year the establishment of the system for issuing of biometric passports, is expected, after which this system will be tested for the next six months.  Issuing of biometric passports will begin at the end of next year or in January of 2010, Opardija has said. In the Agency they explain how issuing of passports is not late, because this whole process is being done in accordance with the plans which have been adopted by the Council of Ministers of BiH. Also, they state how for liberalization of the visa regime 42 conditions need to be fulfilled, and that issuing of biometric passports is not a main, but only one of those conditions.
