Dnevni avaz: The Central bank (CB) of BiH will today let in the circulation a new issue of the banknotes of 10 and 20 KM, which has certain differences in comparison to the previous issue of the same denominations from 1998, has been announced from the Public Relations Service of the CBBiH.
On the new issue of banknotes, besides everything else, 2008 has been stated as a year of publishing, and the signature of the governor Kemal Kozarić is present. Protection filament on the new issue here and there comes out on the surface of banknote. When looked towards the light, the filament is visible as whole and it contains the micro-text CBiBH written in Latin and Cyrillic script.
Labels on the new banknotes of 10 KM have been made in a relief imprint and can be felt under the fingers. By a sparkling color on the first issue, the banknote of 10 KM had a vertical line on the right side. New issue has this element in the lower part and has a different shape.
On the surface of the new issue of banknote of 20 KM, instead of the covered mark of denomination of a grey color, there is an optically changeable element in an appropriate color. Depending on the corner of observation, inside the element can be seen one or more denomination marks (number 20).
From the CBBiH they notify that in the circulation still remain the banknotes of 10 and 20 KM from 1998 and that the new publishing does not have an inflation effect.
