Oslobođenje: the Supervisor for Brčko, Raffi Gregorian has yesterday issued the instructions by which the Law on Conflict of Interests in the Institutions of the District of Brčko and amendments to the Election Law of the District of Brčko have been adopted, reports Fena.
In the second instruction of the supervisor, he has brought changes and amendments to the Law on Public Administration of the District Brčko by which reorganization of the coordinator’s office of the BD in the Council of Ministers of BiH has been done.
In July this year, the Parliament of BiH has adopted the changes and amendments to the Law on Conflict of Interests in Institutions of the Government of BiH. The Government and the Assembly of the District of Brčko have not yet harmonized the Law of the District with the Law on the state level. Regulations of this Law are related to newly elected officials and bearers of the executive functions which should regarding that, need to be introduced with them as soon as the Central Election Commission announces the final election results. In that context, it is also needed to additionally harmonize the Election Law of the BD with the Election Law of BiH in order to avoid each wrong interpretation of competences which belong to the Central Election Commission and the Election Commission of the BD.
