Dnevni list: The Council of Ministers of BiH has confirmed the Proposal of the Law on Changes and Amendments of the Law on Insurance of Deposits in Banks of BiH, by which the rate of the ensured deposit in banks has been increased for citizens from 7500 to 20.000 KM. This proposal will be sent to the Parliament for adoption. “In this way, we want to strengthen the trust of citizens in the banking system in BiH”, has been said by the chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Nikola Špirić. Besides that, the Council has yesterday adopted the decision by which the entrance in BiH only with the identification card has been ensured for the citizens of the European Union, and 11 other countries, among which are neighboring Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro. Also, from the obligation of getting the visa for entering and staying on the territory of our country up to 90 days, have been liberated citizens of 66 countries, and the bearers of the service and diplomatic passports of 14 more countries. “By adopting this decision, BiH harmonizes the visa politics with the European Union and it brings the particular contribution to liberalization of the visa regime”, Špirić has said. At the session, the Council of Ministers has also adopted the information of the Ministry of Security on the condition in the area of violating assets in BiH for 2006, 2007 and the first half of 2008. “In the first half of this year, the trend of increase of stealing and illegal trade of stolen vehicles has been continued. In that period, 884 vehicles have been stolen, which is the increase by 6.5%”, has been stated in information. Also, it has been stated that in the last time a huge number of vehicles registered in BiH has been captured. The identification numbers on them have been totally changed, and by checking the Interpol it has been confirmed that they have been stolen abroad. From the Council of Ministers, an intensive combat against the vehicle-crime has been announced.
