Oslobođenje: The Commission for Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of BiH at the yesterday’s session has given a positive report for implementation of the ratification of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) between the European Community and their countries members and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As the presiding of the Commission, Slavko Matić explained, after the additional notification of the Directorate for the European Integrations (DEI), that authority did not deliberate, nor it has readout on the Interim agreement on Economy and economic issues between the EU and BiH.

“The Interim agreement is an integral part of the SAA, so there is no need to additionally deliberate or accept it. The Commission has defined itself that on that material there is no need for adoption, so its deliberation will not be found at the session of the Parliament, nor that material needs to be ratified additionally”, Matić has pointed out.

The Interim agreement on Economy and economic issues of the EU and BiH, has inured, or it has been applied from July 1st. BiH has by a quickened procedure received the opportunity of using the Interim agreement, which has started to be applied on the first of the month, right after signing the SAA with the EU, and it implies reduction and abolishment of customs on the bigger number of commodities and services.
