Nezavisne novine: Seven to eight institutions of BiH should enter the strike at the end of this month because of dissatisfaction with the Law on Salaries and Remunerations in Institutions of BiH, has been said yesterday on press conference in Sarajevo by Neđo Đurđić, chairman of the Representative Union of institutions of BiH.

He said that the strike is their final solution and he invited again the employers, the Council of Ministries of BiH, to dialog. Đurđić has said that by now they did not get into a strike because “retro-building part of employers has distracted the Union in performing survey among the employed, which was supposed to be finished by September 15th”. As an example he stated that all employees in the Advocacy of BiH have filled the survey and supported the Union, and then to the assistants of counselors the employer has reduced the coefficient of salary from 4,2 on 3,55 without explanations. Assistants usually have 1.500 KM lower salary than their colleagues in other parts of BiH.

“Beginning of strike is connected to performing survey. It will surely come to the strike if there are no more distractions. First institutions should enter the strike at the end of this month, and those are the ones where there will be no consequences for citizens. We will not state their names right now. If there are no results, we will gradually include other institutions into the strike”, Đurđić has said.

On question of one of the members of the Union when the members who are distracting the work of the Union will be dismissed, he replied that the good step would be the session of the Assembly on which the new Management Board has been selected, and that they cannot do this over night and that they need a support from their base.
