Dnevni avaz: The report on business for 2009 which has been prepared by the International Financial Corporation (IFC) and the World Bank (WB) shows how much the countries have done towards improvement of business environment. According to this report, BiH takes the 119th place out of 181 countries on the list of the WB, which shows the simplicity of business.

The Chief of the World Bank in BiH Marco Mantovanelli thinks that the position of BiH has remained unchanged in relation to the previous year when BiH was taking the 117th place out of 178 countries.

It has been stated in the report that BiH has achieved the progress in four out of ten indicators, and those are: closing the company, where BiH takes the 60th place, getting the licenses for building (137), contract execution (123) and registration of the real estate (144) – says Mantovanelli on yesterday’s presentation of report in Sarajevo.

According to him, the report indicates that neighboring countries take faster and more dynamic steps in improving the business environment, and that BiH needs to quicken the reforms in this field in order to attract the capital and open the vacancies.
