Dnevni avaz: In order to educate a bigger number of professionals for European Integrations, who would be working on getting our country closer to the EU, five BiH civil servants will be attending the Graduate School at the University of West of England in Bristol, in the academic year of 2008/2009.

The amount of 580.000 Euro for financing this study has been ensured by the European Union, and selected students – Adnan Rahimić, Enida Šeherac, Željka Jurić, Edina Avdić and Dejan Buha – have yesterday officially signed the contracts on scholarship.

Rahimić from Mostar, is an intern in the Ministry of Education and Science of the canton Sarajevo. He applied for this study because of interesting theme. I saw that it was all about the European Integrations. I am very much interested in it – says Rahimić, who with his colleagues travels to Bristol on Tuesday.

Thirty years old Željka Jurić from Banja Luka has been employed for three years in the Office for Indirect Taxation. She is looking forward to this studying abroad and improving her English language. I expect to acquire new knowledge and experience which will be helpful in my future work. We will maybe try to apply some new methods into our administration – says Jurić.

The students will return to their homeland in July next year so they can spend their fourth semester in preparing and writing their theses.
