Nezavisne novine: SARAJEVO – The Government of the FBiH has not implemented even a half of the tasks which have been set by the Operations plan of work for this year, opposition has warned. “It has been shown that our warnings and fears which we have been expressing by adopting this program of work were reasonable. We are not happy about it and we would be satisfied if the Government of the FBiH has realized at least a half of the planned, but unfortunately it has not. The worst is the fact that it is hard to expect that this will be changed by the end of year”, says Nermin Nikšić, head of the Social-Democrat Party Census in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the FBiH.

According to the Operations plan for this year, the Government of the FBiH has predicted to finish privatization of the Telekom and several other big companies in the FBiH, and with that money to launch a list of investment projects. There have been plan of activities which should result in increasing domestic production by 7,6%, employment by 3,5%, commodity export by 20%, industrial production by 8,5%, salaries by 7,6% and micro prices up to 1,5%.

Besides that, building of the harbor in Neum, renovation of railway Konjic – Čapljina and Sarajevo – Bradina, organization of the appearance of construction companies on foreign market, and the strategy of reform of the system for pensions and disabled in the FBiH, and many other projects and legislative solutions have been predicted.

Yesterday we did not succeed in receiving a comment of the Prime Minister of the FBiH, Nedžad Branković, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finances Vjekoslav Bevanda considering that it has been done as much as money allowed. "I cannot precisely speak of the total results of the Government of the FBiH, but the Ministry for Finances has done almost everything from the plan, and even some projects that were not planned, but reality demanded as well. It is not unusual that media does not notify us about almost everything what the Government does, and so the public does not have a complete vision", says Bevanda.

In the Center for promotion of public society they warn that because of this kind of behavior of the Government of the FBiH towards its own plans of work the analytics indicate that the Government of the FBiH is "inefficient and unable".

"The Government implements a small percent of its own plans and in situation of crisis it does not have an adequate answer, which means that it does not have a qualitative plan and serious approach to important reforms and without such approach there is no qualitative work for citizens. While, for example, in Croatia, the Government itself launches the initiative for reducing prices, and in our country everything remains on verbal statements", says Ševko Bajić, from this organization.
