Nezavisne novine: BANJALUKA – The number of unregistered workers in the RS is smaller every year. This was released from the Republic Administration for Inspection Affairs.

Mira Bošnjak, the head republic inspector of work and protection at work, said that, although the number of unregistered workers is unknown, it is reliably known that it is getting smaller in the last few years.

"In 2006 the percentage of unregistered in relation to controlled workers is eight per cent, and in the last year it amounted 4.5 per cent", said Bošnjak.

She pointed out that inspection in the first four months of this year of controlled 15.723 workers found 327 workers who were not registered.

"Of 327 unregistered workers, 265 of them were registered retroactively, while for the rest of them the registration is ongoing", Bošnjak pointed out.
