Dnevni avaz: Completely restored building of the former Executive Council, in which the Council of Ministers of BiH should move in, remains empty although all the works have been ended more than one month ago. Representatives of both Houses of the Parliament of BiH officially requested from the executive authority to finally move out of “their” facilities, and that the building, in whose restoration around 36 million KM was invested, finally becomes operational.

Two warnings

The only reason why the building is not moved in is a persistent refusal of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Nikola Špirić, to put on the agenda the decision on moving out and the decision which precisely defines which ministries and services will be situated in the restored building – said for “Dnevni avaz” deputy minister of finances of BiH and the main coordinator of restoration of the building of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Fuad Kasumović.

According to him, Špirić so far has been warned twice that the existing situation is unsustainable and that unjustifiably high amounts of rents are still being paid for accommodation of certain institutions in bad facilities, instead of placing them in the new building.

Expenses of fixes

To make it all sadder, the next month almost all the guarantees for works will expire, and we have not even moved in the building. So, even if something has not been done properly, the expenses of fixes will have to be paid from the budget.

How paradoxical this situation is, can be seen through the fact that we cannot install the telephones, because it has not been decided who is in which office – stressed Kasumović.
