Dnevni avaz: As much as 83 inspectors of the Tax Administration of the FBiH yesterday, after investigation activities, conducted a big action of control of facilities where lottery games are illegally organised on the territory of Sarajevo, Hercegovina-Neretva and West Herzegovina Canton.
All 40 facilities were temporarily closed because of the established shortcomings, from the lack of approval of the Ministry of Finances to unauthorised keeping of slots. In Mostar, 11 facilities were closed, in Čapljina and Stolac six, in Čitluk four, in Sarajevo Canton 11 facilities, and on the territory of Ljubuški two facilities. Cantonal Prosecutor’s Offices and Ministries of Interior were notified on everything, and action was prepared in secrecy – said last night around midnight for “Dnevni avaz” director of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, Midhat Arifović.
In spite the fact that inspectors in several cases were exposed even to physical threats, the action was not stopped.
