Nezavisne novine: SARAJEVO – Commissions for Finances and Budget of the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH signed yesterday in Sarajevo with the Department for International Development of the Government of the Great Britain the Memorandum of Understanding on Technical Assistance to these commissions in strengthening of capacities for overview over public finances.
Memorandum, with the Ambassador of the Great Britain in BiH, Matthew Rycroft, was signed by the chairpersons of the Commissions for Finances and Budget of the House of Peoples, Dušanka Majkić and the House of Representatives, Sadik Bahtić.
“It is known that the capacity of the Parliamentary Assembly is as big as the one of its work bodies, and the signed Memorandum is a significant step towards improvement of that capacity”, pointed out Majkić.
Rycroft expressed satisfaction with the Great Britain providing through the Government’s Department for International Development expert assistance to Commissions for Finances and Budget of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
