Dnevni avaz: The greatest number of headquarters of state institutions is placed in Sarajevo- 29, excluding the highest state bodies, Presidency, Parliament and the Council of Ministers of BiH, which are also in the capital.

According to the address book of the state institutions of the Civil Service Agency of BiH, they are, besides in the capital, also placed in Banja Luka, Mostar, East Sarajevo and Tuzla.

The greatest number of state bodies, second to Sarajevo, its headquarters have in Banja Luka – six, among which are the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH, the Commission for Concessions and the Deposit Insurance Agency of BIH. Some institutions have their headquarters equally in Sarajevo, Mostar and Banja Luka.

For example, the Regulatory Commission has Headquarters in Banja Luka and Sarajevo, as well as the Office of Ombudsman for Human Rights of BiH. In Mostar, there are headquarters of five state institutions, among which are the Agency for Food Safety, the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH and the Institution of the Ombudsman for Consumers.

In East Sarajevo are only the Agency for Monitoring of the Market of BiH and the Institute for Standardization of BiH, while one state institution id in Tuzla, the State Regulatory Body for Electric Energy (DERK).
