Nezavisne novine: SARAJEVO – The Council of the Regulatory Agency for Communications (RAC) brought a conclusion to submit to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH a request for exclusion of the Agency from the Law on Salaries in the institutions of BiH.
The Council concluded that inclusion of the Agency in the u Law on Salaries in the institutions of BiH presents an attack on its independence. From the RAC, it has been released that the Council unanimously accepted the information on the procedure of election of the director general of the Agency, and concluded that they will wait for interpretation of the Law on Communications of BiH, in accordance with the letter sent to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and to the OHR on February 20, and which is still not responded to. Adopted are also the Draft Annual Report of the Agency for 2007, plan and programme of work for 2008, and plan and programme of work of the Council for this year.
