Nezavisne novine: SARAJEVO – By application of instructions from the Guidebook for human resources management in the municipalities of BIH, more efficient administration will be ensured, and the money will be directed to realisation of the capital projects.
This was pointed out by Hasan Muratović, Mayor of the Municipality of Živinice, at yesterday’s presentation of the Guidebook in Sarajevo.
Making of the Guidebook was financed by the OSCE Mission to BiH, and it was drafted by the workgroup of representatives of ten municipalities and entity unions of municipalities and towns. Guidebook was intended for persons managing human resources, for municipal mayors, as well as for other employees.
Arlet Stojanović, project manager for development of municipalities in the OSCE, reminded that the idea for making this document was born two years ago.
“By implementing the project of municipal administration reform in the field, we realised that there was a lot of laws which regulate the work of the local communities, but there was a lack of ideas how to apply them practically”, said Stojanović.
Muratović said that the Guidebook will enable all comprising implementation of the public administration reform, which started in 2003.
