Nezavisne novine: SARAJEVO – Several laws which are in the FBiH adopted or are in procedure will not be possible to implement because of great financial obligations, said yesterday Vjekoslav Bevanda, the Minister of Finances in the Government of the FBIH.

“Recently the Law on additional rights of demobilised defenders was adopted, for which nobody knows how heavy financially it is, and the law by the project “one law – one fund” became completely twisted, because nobody checks whether we really have 200.000 members of those categories. And realisation of that law requires new administration and we gain nothing by it”, said Bevanda at the press conference.

Gathered revenues in 2007

– According to yesterday presented data, the FBiH during 2007 gathered 5.8 billion KM of public revenues, cantons and municipalities 2.44 billion KM, non-budget funds 2.06 billion KM, and through the provision for insurance from unemployment 108.6 million KM was gathered and all the revenues are higher than in 2006. Bevanda announced that through reports it will be presented how the difference in revenues was spent and he claims that in the Government of the FBiH they are not currently thinking about increase in salaries although after the increase in the RS and in the state institutions “salaries of the ministers in the FBiH are on the level of officers in the RS and in BiH”.

Minister of finances is not satisfied with prepared amendments of the Law on division of public revenues which is worked on by the Government experts.

“If by changes part of the revenues is taken from cantons, as well as some obligations, that is only re-division”, according to Bevanda.
