Dnevni avaz: The House of Representatives of BiH confirmed yesterday the appointment of the new – old composition of the Council of Ministers of BiH. That, after more than three months of technical mandate caused by resignation of the Chairman Nikola Špirić, provided that this institution continues to work in full capacity.

Against the appointment were the representatives of the SDP and the SDS, while three representatives of the DNS, the DNZ and the People’s Party “Radom za boljitak” abstained.

Špirić, in his address to the press after the appointment, said that great obligations await the Council of Ministers on the way to European integrations.

My goal is signing of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA). I think that it is in the reach and all those who have bad wishes for this country are wrong– said Špirić.

The House adopted the budget for the next year, amounting to 1.186 billion KM. Against the budget were the representatives of the SDA, the SDP and the SDS.

Minister of Finances and Treasury, Dragan Vrankić, said that he decreased the proposal of the Presidency of BiH by 45 million marks, but that their proposals were respected, relating to assistance to return of the refugees and partially the provisions for science and agriculture.

'On the other hand, there were decreases on other points, mostly on salaries, remunerations and material expenses', said Vrankić.
