Dnevni avaz: Despite of the announcements that paying the work in commissions, which have been established by the Federal Government or its ministries, will totally be abolished, only from beginning of this year some decisions on forming around 40 “working authorities”, whose members will be paid on time, have been adopted.
According to the last Government’s regulation, which regulates this area, each member of the commission has a right on a monthly remuneration in a height of an average salary in the FBiH, which currently is around 795 KM, while the chairmen of commissions (“who have a very complex job”) can maximally have a double amount.
Besides that, almost all ministries and administrations, and the Government itself, have formed some special commissions for public procurements. Who cares about very clear procedures of nominating to certain positions when this “job” can be charged as well? Last such example is the decision on establishing the 5-member Commission for election of director of the Film center of Sarajevo.
Among the newly formed commissions is also the one related to asylum, in the frame of the Ministry of Justice of the FBiH, then the election of the user of transfer for stimulation and development of business, and for development of installations of tax system, for determining the "floatation"…
One of the rare positive steps is the example of the Ministry of Science and Education, which in the decision on forming the Commission for monitoring educational reform has clearly stated that the employed of this ministry cannot receive the remuneration, because working in that authority is their every-day work.
