The Civil Service Agency of BiH, in cooperation with the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office, organized a workshop yesterday in Sarajevo titled “Modernization of Public Administration with the Help of CAF Tools”. Kenan Avdagić, a representative of the PARCO, presented to his colleagues from the civil service how an organization can be more efficient and effective in its work by using self-assessment according to the CAF methodology.
Also, this tool can be a bridge to several other standards used by public administration organizations, but also a link to many other methodologies that make for better quality work and better services for citizens. Topics that stood out in particular were innovation in public administration, digital transformation, people as central drivers of change, user and employee satisfaction surveys, and others.
As a reminder, the CAF tool was created by public administration for public administration, and is used in more than 4000 organizations across Europe. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, CAF has so far been introduced in more than 50 organizations at all administrative levels.
