At the session, which has been held today in Sarajevo, members of the Joint Management Board of the Public Administration Reform Fund have approved the changes in the Terms of Reference “Training of civil servants for application of information technologies by the ECDL standard” by including a change of the title of project into: “Training of civil servants for application of information technologies and work on computers” from the area of Human Resources Management.

Since the decisions of the PARF JMB are being adopted unanimously, a written declaration of members of the JMB, who have not been present at the session, is expected.

The tender documentation for the project “Training of civil servants for application of information technologies and work on computers” has been unanimously approved. Goal of the project is development of modern civil service in BiH in harmonization with the European standards and the best practice, which will be able to respond to demands of the integration processes in the EU and ensure a qualitative service to its citizens, clients from economic sector and other users of its services. Training of 1.600 civil servants has been stipulated by this project.  

Members of the PARF JMB have also adopted the tender documentation for the project “Blueprint of Development of Central Bodies of Governments in BiH – Implementation of the Phase I” from the area of Policy making and coordination capacities.   By realization of this project, the Council of Ministers of BiH, entity governments and the Government of the Brčko District will be enabled to build a system for making and coordinating the policies in a coherent and harmonized manner, develop a modern structure, capacities and procedures of policy coordination, and improve the inter-government cooperation and performance of the central government authorities.

The Terms of Reference “Training of officers for public relations” from the area of Institutional communciation has been supported, while the Project Proposal “Publishing of informative material of the Council of Ministers, the Government of the RS, the Government of the FBiH and the Government of the Brčko District of BiH” from this area has been returned for drafting to the members of the Supervisory team.  

Members of the PARF JMB have later been introduced to the information on financing the projects from the PARF. In the information, besides others, there is a statement that 11 projects have been approved financing from the PARF.
