The Council of Ministers of BiH has at today's session by majority of votes adopted the Information of the Directorate for European Integrations on holding the Second plenary meeting of Monitoring the process of reforms (RPM).

The meeting will be held on February 19th, 2009. in Brussels. The institutions on the state level are obligated, while giving the answer to the stated question of the European Commission, to agree the activities and lead the continued consultations with included institutions at the state and entity level. Responsible institutions are obligated to deliver to the Directorate for European Integrations the proposals of answers to the questions stated by the European Commission, at latest by January 29th, 2009. The institutions are obligated to nominate the representatives who will participate in work of the upcoming plenary meeting of the RPM in Brussels. The Directorate for European Integrations needs to undertake the activities on creation of the document for discussion for the RPM meeting and notify the institutions on time on all the details related to holding the meeting.

The Council of Ministers of BiH has deliberated the Proposal decision on forming the Working group for implementation of public deliberation on the aimed language/languages in the process of translating the acquis communautaire and on the model of implementing the acquis communautaire in BiH. The Council of Ministers, by majority of votes, has concluded to prepare within 10 days the innovated proposal decision, by which the national structure will be balanced in the working groups, stands besides others, in the notification of the Intelligence service of the General secretariat of the Council of Ministers.

The set of documents on evaluation of implementation of the Map of path, and the Information on executed negotiations with the representatives of the European Commission in the frame of dialog on liberalization of visa regime for the citizens of BiH have been adopted as well.

The Council of Ministers has obligated the Inter-departmental working group for liberalization of visa regime to deliver to the Council of Ministers within 30 days, in coordination with the authorized institutions, the Plan of activities for implementation of recommendations from the document of the European Commission. The Inter-departmental working group is obligated to deliver the Work report to the Council of Ministers.

Among the activities which should be undertaken by the Institutions of BiH in the process of liberalization of visa regime for the citizens of BiH, are the introduction of biometric passports, improvement of cooperation in the area of borders and security of data on the basis of which the identification documents are being issued and establishing the inter-institutional engagement for combat against corruption,  and a need of delivering the data to the European Commission on the progress in establishment of seven police structures at the state level.
