The World Bank Institute (WBI) in partnership with the Government of Austria and BiH Council of Ministers will conduct a Workshop on Performance Accountability and Integrity. The Workshop will take place in Mostar, on December 4-6, 2007.
This workshop will introduce participants to performance-based accountability and oversight when there is no bottom-line. Participants will share lessons on better practices in ensuring integrity and improving efficiency in public management including public financial management. Experiences of OECD countries in managing for results and introducing transparency and public financial integrity and subjecting government programs to internal and external oversight and evaluation will be presented.
One of the speakers on the Workshop will also be the State Coordinator for Public Administration Reform, Mrs Nevenka Savić, with the presentation named 'Measuring and Monitoring Performance and Performance Based Accountability in Public Administration Reform'.
