Nezavisne novine: SARAJEVO – Dragan Vrankić, the Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH, started yesterday talks with the representatives of both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH on the Proposal of the Budget for 2008, which is already in the parliamentary procedure.
Beriz Belkić, deputy chairman of the House of Representatives of the BH Parliament, said yesterday that the Budget Proposal of the BiH institutions will be on the agenda of the session of this House, scheduled for the February 13.
“We had framework agreements with Minister Vrankić, and now starts the usual procedure”, said Belkić.
Ilija Filipović, deputy chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, says that the Presidency authorized Vrankić to represent the proposed budget inf ront of the Parliament.
Dušanka Majkić, president of the Serb Caucus in the House of Peoples, who attended the meeting, is not an optimist that everything could be finished in a speedy manner.
Proposal of the budget of 1.231 billion KM, was directed to the Parliament by the BiH Presidency, and against it was Nebojša Radmanović, the Member of the Presidency from the RS, claiming that the budget was oversized.
