Oslobođenje: Since the application of the Law on Mediation in Employment and Social Security of Unemployed of the Federation of BiH, around 1100 persons have been removed from the evidence of the Employment service, has been said for Oslobođenje by Mustafa Cuplov, cantonal Minister of Health Care. By applying this Law, already jeopardized rights of persons forced to work without pension and health care insurance and without adequate remuneration for their work, have been replaced.

Employed in the cantonal Bureau for Employment have already for three months been removing from the evidence of unemployed the citizens who by any basis have achieved monthly incomes bigger than the quarter of an average last year's salary in the FBiH.

This means, that all unemployed, including the parturient women as well, who in the last year have earned more than 160 KM per month, or 1.930 KM for the whole year, regardless the fact that they have not been employed, are being removed from the bureau evidence. This way, the children of those persons will remain without health care protection as well.

Children will be insured by Municipalities

Minister of Health Care in the Government of canton, Mustafa Cuplov says that for the children up to the age of seven, when they lose their right on health care protection they have had over the Bureau for Employment, is being issued a confirmation with which they can contact their Municipality, which later overtakes financing their health care insurance. The Ministry of Education and Science of the canton will cover the school children by a health care.

Such relation towards the unemployed persons, who sometimes work in order to earn enough money for nourishment of their families, is shocking and it points out that the social picture of Sarajevo will be even darker. However, by this Law the most damage is being brought to the future parturient women, who remain without health care protection, remuneration for parturient women and equipment for a newborn. Instead of awarding them for what they have decided in such economic situation, the country pushes them deeper into the misery and poorness.

This way the future mothers will be forced to pay the doctor checks, but also the birth itself, if the Government of canton does not undertake concrete steps in solving this problem. The Minister Cuplov has by a telephone conversation convinced us that he will not let that parturient women, women in fertile age and children remain without health care insurance.

"Decision on obligated health care insurance of women in fertile age, pregnant women and children up to the age of 18, who are not insured, already next week I will send to deliberation and adoption to the Government. This way we will protect this population and submit a part of the insurance for those categories of citizens", has been said by the Minister Cuplov.
