In the previous two days, the project of municipal environmental management in Bosnia and Herzegovina (MEG2), implemented by UNDP, organized a two-day workshop for improving the work of public administration using the CAF quality management tool in the city of Orašje.

On this occasion, employees of the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office, Kenan Avdagić and Miroslav Zeković, who were invited to the workshop as guests, presented domestic and international experiences in the implementation of CAF to employees of the City of Orašje.

On this occasion, a special focus was placed on the self-assessment process, as well as on the results obtained in terms of strengths, areas for improvement, and activities for improvement.

Also, a new topic in CAF was addressed, which is particularly important for this project, and that is performance measurement through indicators in local self-government units. The city of Orašje will continue its implementation of CAF in the coming period through a workshop for the development of an improvement plan. We remind you that within the MEG 2 project, in addition to Orašje, the implementation of adapted CAF is currently being piloted in five other local self-government units in Bosnia and Herzegovina, namely Gračanica, Laktaši, Teslić, Žepče and Šamac.
