At today’s session, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Information of the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office on the fifth online survey on the implementation of the Policy and Standards of Proactive Transparency in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The research, conducted in March and April 2023 among 65 institutions, showed that the average fulfillment of the standard of proactive transparency is 72.27%, which represents an improvement compared to 2022, when the fulfillment of the standard was 68.23 percent.
Six institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina met 100 percent of the standard of proactive transparency, namely: the Directorate for European Integration, the Agency for Statistics of BiH, the Agency for Higher Education and Quality Assurance, the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office, the Agency for Gender Equality of BiH and the Agency for Police Support BiH. These institutions have published all data and information of public importance, from the contacts of employees to the total incomes of the managers of these institutions and all civil servants and state employees. The Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office did not verify the veracity of the data, the accuracy of the submitted data is up to the contact persons in the institutions of BiH who filled out the questionnaire.
The BiH Council of Ministers tasked, among other things, all institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina to continuously implement standards of proactive transparency and regularly update documents on the websites of their institutions.
