The sixth meeting of the Special Group for Public Administration Reform between the EU and BiH will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in a hybrid format.

In the first part of the meeting (from 10:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.), a high-level political dialogue on public administration reform will be held, which will be co-chaired by Davor Bunoza, Minister of Justice of BiH, on behalf of BiH. During this part, priorities related to functionally managed public finances and functional public administration will be discussed, as well as the construction of a professional civil service and harmonization of legislation on civil service at different levels of government.

In the second part of the meeting (from 2:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.) a technical level dialogue on public administration reform will be held, which will be co-chaired by Dragan Ćuzulan, coordinator for public administration reform, on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this part of the meeting it will be discussed, among other things, the implementation of the Strategy and Action Plan for the reform of public administration in BiH, as well as the civil service and human resources management.

The meeting will be co-chaired by Vassilis Maragos from the European Commission on behalf of the EU.

After the end of the political dialogue at the high level, the Directorate will distribute the press release, as well as the inserts from the beginning of the meeting and the audio-video recording of the statements of the Minister of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina Davor Bunoza and Dragan Ćuzulan, the coordinator for public administration reform. The directorate will also distribute the press release after the end of the dialogue at the technical level.
