Večernji list, March 2, 2011 – The text of the Revised Action Plan 1 of the Public Administration Reform Strategy has been agreed at the meeting of the National PAR Coordinator with the PAR coordinators of the Federation of BiH, the Republic of Srpska and the Brčko District of BiH, held in Brčko, therefore it will soon be sent to the governments of BiH for the adoption.
With the Revised Action Plan 1, or the measures and activities that the government institutions of BiH should implement by 2014, public administration in our country will be strengthened and closer to citizens and the business society.
"After almost a year since the conclusion on implementing the analysis of the existing Action Plan 1 of the PAR Strategy has been adopted and after a huge number of meetings of supervisory teams, coordinators and experts in these areas, we can gladly conclude that we have completed the revised AP for all six reform areas, with précised goals, activities and authorities responsible for their implementation, as well as deadlines for implementing individual measures. It is surely about the document that will quicken the public administration reform process and contribute to a faster completion of conditions required for getting BiH administration closer to the EU association. We expect that the governments will soon adopt this document, and then there are still the activities on its realization, so we plan to determine the precise activity plan at the annual level for an equal execution of this plan at all four administrative levels", has been said by Semiha Borovac, National PAR Coordinator in BiH.
