Nezavisne novine: SARAJEVO – The Council of Ministers of BiH adopted and sent in the headquarters of the European Commission in Brussels the list of project ideas which will be financed from the assets of the pre-accession assistance of the EU (IPA) for 2008, confirmed yesterday Osman Topčagić, director of the Directorate for European Integrations.
"Adopted were project ideas from the first component of the pre-accession assistance, which is related with transition and institutional development. From the IPA we will receive in total 74 million Euros for 2008, of which around 70 million belongs to the first component", clarified Topčagić.
The European Commission will discuss the project ideas in the following months, and the final decision on approval of the assets should be reached at the IPA committee in September this year.
The Council of Ministers of BiH yesterday held two sessions. The IPA projects were discussed at the second, afternoon session. At the first, the Council of Ministers adopted the Policy in the area of disability in BiH, which will ensure equalized approach in regulating rights and the status of the persons with disability.
"In the document there are harmonized standpoints on evaluation of disability, human dignity and social security, health care and rehabilitation, education, employment, architectonic and other barriers, gender equality, satisfaction of religious, cultural and sport needs. For realization of these standpoints the FBiH, the RS and the Brčko District will draft the strategy and the action plan with the necessary budget", was the release after the session.
The Council of Ministers adopted the appearance of the form for inventorying the real-estate and movable property outside of territory of BiH, which will be sent to the competent institutions of the foreign countries. At the morning session, the ministers adopted the rulebooks on general declaration or marking of the packed food, marking of nutrition values, conditions of usage of food additives in the food intended for human nutrition, usage of color and sweeteners in the food etc.
"This area so far has been regulated by the rulebooks which were taken over from the former SFRY. By adopting these rulebooks, BiH is making a significant step forward and is removing disaccords in the segment of nutrition", was the release of the Council of Ministers.
