Dnevni avaz: After because of illegal organisation of lottery games and unregistered betting machines, the inspectors of the Tax Administration of the FBiH temporarily closed as much as 40 facilities on the territory of Sarajevo, Mostar and Ljubuški, this institution asked for assistance of other agencies in charge.
Except informing on our activities the prosecutor’s offices and the Ministries of Interior in charge, we expect the assistance from other inspection services as well, but also from the citizens. It is obvious that in this area in every possible way the tax is trying to be evaded, which presents the criminal act of tax evasion. In spite threats, insults and other unpleasant things, inspectors will not stop the started actions – said for the “Dnevni avaz” director of the Tax Administration of the FBiH, Midhat Arifović.
According to his words, during these controls new sports betting machines were noted, which present mini bet shops, and there are indications that there is a great number of such machines in the area of the FBiH.
When it comes to temporary closed facilities, the Tax Administration of the FBiH released that it has been done, because for their work there were no approvals of the Ministry of Finances of the FBiH and solutions of the municipal bodies.
