Dnevni avaz: The Board for coordination of international assistance yesterday organized meeting with representatives of civil sector on programming of Instrument of Pre-Accession Assistance of the EU (IPA) for this year.

As released to the press by the director of the Directorate for European Integrations of BiH, Osman Topčagić, it is about preparation for usage of the EU funds. He pointed out that BiH this year was awarded 70 million euros for transition and institution building, and BiH submitted applications for 30 projects.

This is not about general development assistance, but assistance for the process of European integrations and implementation of activities signifying institutional strengthening and for preparations for further progress in this process – said Topčagić.

Yesterday’s meeting was the first which was organized by the newly established Board for coordination of international assistance, consisting of the Ministry of Finances and Treasury of BiH, the Directorate for European Integrations, the Directorate for Economic Planning and representatives of the department ministries of the entities and the Brčko District.
