One of the EU recommendations for Bosnia and Herzegovina within the reform area of Service Delivery refers to improving user-friendly administration, by introducing activities envisaged in the Action Plan for Public Administration Reform, according to the agreed roadmap (in cooperation with OECD – SIGMA), with clear deadlines and institutional responsibilities.
Considering the above, the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office and SIGMA are organizing a two-day workshop for the development of a Digital Governance Roadmap for Bosnia and Herzegovina. The workshop will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 3 and 4, 2026, in Sarajevo, at the Courtyard Mariott Hotel.
In line with the Strategic Framework for Public Administration Reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina 2018-2022 (2027) and the accompanying Action Plan, the workshop aims to establish a common understanding of the current state of digital governance in BiH and jointly create a clear, realistic and sequential roadmap for implementation. Through expert contributions and structured discussions, participants will jointly identify strategic objectives, fundamental drivers and priorities that should guide digital transformation in the next 2-3 years. The workshop focuses on governance mechanisms, fundamental digital drivers, data and registries, and the transformation of basic public services.
The workshop participants are representatives of two supervisory teams operating within the reform area of Service Delivery, i.e. the Supervisory Team for Digitalization, as well as representatives of institutions responsible for establishing service catalogs, registries and open data, appointed to the Supervisory Team for Better Service Delivery and Quality.
