The Prime Minister of the Central Bosnia Canton, Tahir Lendo, hosted a delegation from the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office (PARCO), including the Public Administration Reform Coordinator of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Darko Kasap, the Public Administration Reform Coordinator of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Željko Škarica, and the Deputy Public Administration Reform Coordinator of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Miloš Golijanin. The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Justice and Administration of the Central Bosnia Canton, Božana Petrović, the Secretary of the Ministry, Renata Vrhovac, and the Assistant Minister for Administration, Irma Hodžić.
The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen political support and enhance cooperation within the public administration reform process in BiH.
The topics of the meeting were:
-strengthening political support for the public administration reform process in BiH,
-Revised Action Plan of the Strategic Framework for Public Administration Reform in BiH 2018-2022 (2027),
-strengthening cooperation between cantonal public administration reform coordinators and the public administration reform coordinator of the Government of the Federation of BiH.
The priorities highlighted at this meeting are: digitalization of public services, civil service reform, fight against corruption and integrity.
This meeting represents an important step in implementing reform activities and improving the efficiency of public administration in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ultimately, the goal is to ensure political accountability for public administration reform at the cantonal level and establish efficient strategic management and coordination between cantons and institutions at the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
