A new, regular meeting of CAF correspondents from all over Europe was held in Copenhagen on Wednesday. Namely, under the auspices of the Kingdom of Denmark, and in organization of the European Institute for Public Administration (EIPA), representatives of the countries were presented with new methods and successful stories of improving public administration. At this meeting, the focus was on services for citizens and digitalization.
A special part of the meeting is dedicated to the improvement, i.e. modernization of the CAF tool in accordance with the new needs and challenges of new technology in the coming period, the development of new guidelines for CAF Excellence Recognition (CER – a new way of certification for the CAF tool), and the start of work on the organization of the “Conference for Quality in Public Administration in Europe”.
During the meeting, the Director of the CAF Resource Center EIPA, Gracia Vara Arribas, thanked everyone for their cooperation so far and for building a very strong network of CAF correspondents again, and pointed out that starting this month, Tihana Puzić, her previous deputy, will take over this position.
Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by Kenan Avdagić from the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office as CAF correspondent, who emphasized that this year CAF implementation has begun or has already been completed in more than 20 organizations from all administrative levels.
