The Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office, in cooperation with the SIGMA initiative, and with the support of the “EU for Public Administration Reform” technical assistance project, is organizing a workshop for RJU coordinators and members and deputies of supervisory teams to collect data and to review the Action plan of the Strategic framework for public administration reform 2018 – 2022 (2027).
The workshop will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 9 a.m. at the “Holiday” hotel, in Sarajevo, address Zmaja od Bosna no. 4.
During 2022, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Governments of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska and Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina extended the period of validity of the Strategic framework for public administration reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina 2018-2022 and the accompanying Action plan for five years, i.e. until the end of 2027. Monitoring of the implementation of the Action plan shows that the implementation rate of the planned reform activities is 14.31 percent. Taking into account the changes that occurred after 2018, especially the requirements of the accession process, the coordinators for public administration reform agreed on the need to revise the Action plan for public administration reform. The first step in that process is prioritization. At this workshop, the methodology for prioritization will be presented, and key steps for the revision of the Action plan, responsibilities, outcomes and time frame will be agreed upon.
