On November 28 and 29, 2023, SIGMA and the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office organized a workshop on regulatory impact assessment and public consultations titled “Improving Systems and Practices through Stronger Quality Assurance.”

The goal of the workshop was to initiate a discussion on the systems, methods, tools, and practices for further improving the quality of regulatory impact assessments and public consultations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The workshop was attended by representatives from the European Union Delegation to BiH, OECD/SIGMA, the Public Administration Reform Coordinator’s Office, and key institutions for regulatory impact assessment and public consultations from all levels of government.

During the workshop, the next steps (recommendations) were agreed upon to further improve the system of evidence-based policy making and public consultations.
